What is your address?

We are located at 810 Commerce St, Thornwood, NY 10594

What are your store hours?

During the week, Monday through Friday, we are generally here 7AM-5PM baking and preparing orders.

Saturday morning we are here for pick ups until 12 noon and offer deliveries in the morning and afternoon.

Sundays we are closed. If you are having an event on Sunday, Sunday delivery is available.

All other Sunday pick up orders can be picked up on Saturday.

At this time I only offer in person consultations for wedding cakes or cakes for parties of 100 guests or more. If you are looking to come by for a wedding or large party consultation, please call ahead as we may already have an appointment or may be out on local delivery. If you are having a non wedding event and would discuss your order in more detail, please feel free to call for a phone consultation.

Do you have items for walk in purchase?
We are a custom order bakeshop. We do not have items on hand for purchase.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We generally book 4-6 weeks in advance. Please keep in mind that during peak season (May/June, Sept-Dec) we may book out up to 10 weeks in advance.

If your party date is less than 4 weeks away, it is always good to call and inquire about availability as a spot may have become available.

Do you have a minimum order?

There is a 40 serving minimum on a la carte cake orders.

We do offer a 25 person size when combined with dozen cupcakes, cake pops, or cookies. 

For the individual items (cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, etc.), there is a 2 dozen minimum order.

Do you offer cake tastings? 

We do offer cake tastings for Wedding Cakes. We do not offer cake tastings for non wedding events at this time. There is a $20 fee for cake tastings which is applied to your order when you book!

Do you have any recommendations for serving the cake?

Yes! Our cakes are best served at room temperature. When you pick up or have your cake delivered, the cake is coming out of the refrigerator and will take some time to temper. We recommend for the cake to sit at room temperature ( indoors) for 4-6 hours before serving. Please keep in mind that room temperature should be no warmer than 70 F.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Venmo, Credit Card or Check.

Do you require a deposit?

A 50% deposit is required to hold the date. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your event date. 

Your spot is not secured until we receive the deposit.

What is your order modification/cancellation policy?

Cancellations can be made up until three weeks prior to your event. After that time your deposit will not be refunded.

Modifications including change of design, amounts/sizing or flavor may be made up until two weeks prior. 

In the event of a weather related cancellation, your order (for Friday-Sunday pick up) must be cancelled by 

Wednesday at 12 noon in order to receive a full refund. 

COVID 19 CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event that your order needs to be cancelled because of COVID 19, one of the following will apply:

-If you cancel your event with LESS than a week’s notice, the total cost of the order will need to be met by the client. 

-If you cancel your event with MORE than one week’s notice, meaning that the order was cancelled by the Sunday before your event, the deposit can be refunded or credited to a future date. Please keep in mind that a reschedule date is based on availability and can not be guaranteed.

In the event that your booking is cancelled or postponed because of a Government order or mandate, or not able to happen due to restrictions on the number of guests you are having, one of the following will apply:

-If the mandate is issued with less than one week’s notice, we will split the cost of any preparations made up to that point.

-If the mandate is issued with more than one week’s notice, we will refund your deposited amount or credit the deposit to a future booking.


Do you deliver and what is the fee?

We do offer delivery within Westchester County, NY.

The delivery fee is based on the distance traveled. The delivery schedule is made one week prior. Once the delivery schedule is set you may add delivery to your order but it is based on availability and can not be guaranteed.

Do I have to return the cake stands and plater if I opt for the Dessert Table Set up with rentals?

Yes, all cake stands, plates, and pedestals must be returned to our Bakeshop in Thornwood

prior to the following weekend.

Do you ship your cakes, cookies and cake pops?

We do not ship our products at this time.
